Jack and Shannon in Nashville

-Monday night-
Well...we're here in Nashville Tenessee...checked out some music last night. Broadway is a cool street with lots of activity. There's a bunch of bars in a row with live music...no cover charge. Different model than from where we're from...they pass around a bucket for $$$...pretty cool vibe..you just kinda walk in from bar to bar...

Saw/heard some cool country swing...and harder country...Shannon danced with a local (i permitted this activity).....of course...all music was cover tunes...apparently there's songwriter nights and stuff...gonna try and tap into some of that...

-Tuesday night-
Went to the Grand Ole Opry!!! All my life i've watched/loved shows like Austin City Limits and the Grand Ole Opry... it was like a 5 min walk from our hotel...we walked in late to see 'CherryHolmes'. This is a kick ass bluegrass family band. They were awesome...seen them on Grand Ole Opry on tv before...seeing them live was surreal... I got slighlty emotional. Being there was like entering another world...a dream world i have only experienced on the boob tube. Lots of history there...
