Telephoning...please

Why must people still use the telephone? Especially businesses? I've been trying to book a chimney cleaner and a piano mover all week. Ridiculous phone tag. It's like...get a freaking email account and advertise it on your website...or in the yellowpages. Asynchronous communication is the ONLY way to get anything booked for craps sake. You don't have to 'write' things down...they're in your freaking INBOX to see.... Some businesses have a 'web site'...which only has a ridiculous home page from 1994 with their phone number.....great....thx...

email scenario:
client: 'Hi, i need you to do [thing] for me'.
business: 'Hi, we can do [thing]for you on [date]'
client: 'Great, that sounds good for [date]. Please confirm.'
business: 'Confirmed...we'll be there on [date]'

Notice how we can communicate outside of business hours in a casual way and still get the thing done!!!

Awaiting final masters to be sent to us via snail mail. Then we ship it out to the manufacturer.

I think your problem is that there is probably not a lot of people who move pianos and clean chimneys. You should find 1 person to clean the chimney and another person to move the piano.
